The bbm shows up in the message folder, i get the icon at the top of the screen, it plays the alert, the led blinks and the bbm folder gets the new item icon -- but the message folder no longer gets the icon (when in the past, it has). When accessing a bbm contact and attempting to make a bbm voice or bbm video call the bbm voice/video icon is missing. if the icon is visible but greyed out this indicates that the contact is currently not available to receive bbm voice/video calls.. Bbm doesn't work for me either. although with facebook messenger and whatsapp, i experience no notification problems whatsoever. for facebook messenger - make sure your messenger notifications are turned on in the app settings and background tasks for that particular app are enabled..
